What it is
Chemical peels exfoliate the top layer of skin (epidermis) revealing brighter, more even skin underneath. With time, collagen and elastin growth are stimulated, improving skin tone and texture.
How long it takes
The procedure itself takes about 30 minutes. Please allow a little more time in the office, though, as a medical history and photographs are taken.
Expected down time
None. Patients can go back to work and life right after treatment. You may see some peeling a few days later for deeper chemical peels.
When will I look amazing?
You will see immediate results such as brightening upon leaving the office. Collagen remodeling will take longer and will be noticeable after several treatments.
